BIOCHEMISTRY – PROFESSIONAL ONLINE TUTORING
I offer individual Biochemistry tutoring for students of medicine, pharmacy, biology, biotechnology, biomedical sciences and related university programmes.
I can help with a wide range of topics, including amino acids, proteins and enzymes, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, DNA and RNA, cellular respiration, metabolism, biochemical pathways, molecular biology, enzyme kinetics and regulation of metabolic processes.
Biochemistry can initially seem like an enormous collection of structures, reactions and pathways that simply have to be memorised. I teach it differently. My aim is to show the logic behind biochemical processes and the connections between chemistry, biology and human physiology. Once these relationships become clear, even complex metabolic pathways are much easier to understand and remember.
During lessons, we can work through theoretical concepts, biochemical mechanisms, calculations and exam-style questions. I adapt the level and pace of teaching to the student's course and individual needs.
