Howzit as we say in South Africa.

I am a native English speaker who lives in Cape Town.

I studied at the Universities of Cape Town and Natal and earned a BALLB.

Following my studies, I served 2 years National Service in the SADF and was posted as a Military Law Officer to the Operational Area in Namibia. On completion, I did my Articles of Clerkship training to become an attorney and then served about 18 months as a Public Prosecutor.

In 1991 I left South Africa and travelled around the UK, USA and Europe for about 18 months.

I started my own law firm in 1995 and ran that up until 2013 where after I started and ran 2 businesses for about 10 years.

I have been tutoring for a number of years now and I really do enjoy the interactions I have with "foreigners". I also enjoy travelling and I hope to be able to combine the tutoring with a travel bug now that my 2 sons are out of school, out of home and each paddling their own canoes..

Basically I am a curious cat.

Maybe we meet up some day.
