As a linguaphile from early childhood, I was always passionate about learning and teaching languages.
I have graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting (Ionian University, Greece). I’m also a holder of a Master Degree in Social Sciences (University of Glasgow, UK) and various post-graduate certificates in Teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign Language. My MSc. thesis with topic «The increasing role of bilingualism in modern society: bilingual education» was successfully presented in the International Virtual Forum - «Geo-Cultural: Smart Technologies In Education And Society» and «Geo-Cultural Space: Smart-Technologies In Education and Social Environment» (July 2017).
I am a patient and organized individual who is able to quickly assess a student's strengths and weaknesses and create an effective lesson plan to help them reach their goals. Lessons can take place through videocall in any preferred platform (Google Meet, Teams, Skype, What'sapp etc.).
Member of the Panhellenic Association of Translators (Πανελλήνια Ένωση Μεταφραστών, ΠΕΜ) and the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA).

5/5Valentina is an amazing teacher - a true professional, who knows what they are doing! I am always looking forward to our lessons, and atmosphere during them is super friendly.
Greek is very different from my mother tongue and from other languages that I've learnt, but Valentina makes it all so simple and easy - I feel like I'm going to speak freely in no-time haha :)
Choosing to study Greek with Mrs. Pentorets was the right call!

5/5Bardzo trudna grecka gramatyka z Panią Valentiną staje się możliwa dla przyswojenia, lekcje prowadzone są w bardzo przyjaznej atmosferze, całość jest jednocześnie profesjonalna jak i prowadzona w bardzo sympatyczny sposób, wolny od stresu. Dużo praktycznej nauki, polecam!
5/5Ευχαριστώ πολύ, Βαλεντίνα! Miałam przyjemność uczyć się języka greckiego z Panią Walentyną. Zajęcia były nieocenioną pomocą w przygotowaniach do egzaminu B2. Materiały dydaktyczne świetnie odpowiadały moim wymaganiom, dostosowane do moich potrzeb, celów i poziomu językowego. Walentyna świetnie tłumaczy gramatykę wiec zdecydowanie polecam pod każdym względem, a przede wszystkim tym którzy chcą nauczyć się mówić po grecku. Dziękuję za wszystko!
5/5Całym sercem polecam zajęcia z Panią Walentyną wszystkim osobom zainteresowanym nauką języka greckiego. Zajęcia i materiały są dostosowywane do potrzeb ucznia. Walentyna jest bardzo komunikatywną osobą, zawsze świetnie przygotowaną do zajęć. Kontakt z językiem greckim mam od dawna, ale dzięki Walentynie moje umiejętności językowe znacznie się poprawiły (C1-C2). Serdecznie polecam.

To all those who want to learn to speak Greek without fear, I recommend classes with Ms Valentina. She is a professional and patient teacher who breaks the speaking barrier (B1-B2 exam) in no time. 5/5Dzięki! Absolutnie polecam lekcje języka greckiego z Valentiną. Materiały, metody, plan pracy wszystko było zaplanowane i przygotowane bardzo dobrze. Metody nauczania są ciekawe, praktyczne i naprawdę przynoszą efekty (gramatyka, słownictwo, mówienie, czytanie).
Jeśli ktoś szuka nauczyciela, który naprawdę pomoże zrozumieć i pokochać grecki, to Pani Valentina jest najlepszym wyborem. Zdecydowanie warto!
