I'm a TEFL-certified British native speaker from England.Ten years ago, I packed my bags, jumped on an EasyJet flight, and left rainy England for the beautiful Poland.

Over the past decade, I have worked full-time as a teacher, supporting students from a variety of backgrounds.I began my teaching career in a preschool, working with young children at the very start of their English language journey. They say that working in a preschool prepares you for everything-but what they don't tell you is what teaching preschoolers over Zoom during a pandemic teaches you! Keeping a class of 18 little ones engaged for 45 minutes of English was one of the most challenging experiences of my career, but I loved every minute of it.

During the pandemic, I decided to take on a second job and was excited to step into the classroom with my new students. But-yes, you guessed it-another lockdown meant more online lessons. It was then that I truly fell in love with online teaching. I was very much 'learning on the job', but the skills I developed during that time were instrumental in advancing my online teaching career.

To this day, I continue to teach in both primary and secondary education. My current responsibilities include:

- English Language and Literature Teacher for Years 5–8.
- Project Coordinator in secondary school.
- Exam Preparation for Year 8 students taking the FCE/CAE examinations.

In the afternoons/evenings, I have several online clients, ranging from young students, to adults working in business.
