My name is Silvia Rota, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Intercultural Studies in Languages and Literatures (ISLLI) at the University of Bergamo. I have a strong passion for languages and foreign cultures, which I developed from a young age and deepened through my Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, specializing in English and French.



During my studies, I participated in two Erasmus programs: one in Lyon, France, and one in Brno, Czech Republic. These experiences enhanced my linguistic skills, cultural awareness, adaptability, and independence, allowing me to understand that learning a language goes beyond theory—it is also about connecting with a different mindset and way of life.



Alongside my studies, I have gained work experience in roles such as waitress, barista, university tutor, and educational assistant, developing communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. These experiences taught me flexibility, responsibility, and the importance of collaboration and human connection.



I am motivated by opportunities where I can combine my academic background and practical experiences to contribute to intercultural, educational, or social projects, both in Italy and abroad.
