Polish for Foreigners | Learn to Speak Polish Naturally!

Cześć! My name is Zofia Stafiej, and I'd love to help you learn Polish in a natural, engaging and enjoyable way!

I'm a professional film and theatre actress, a graduate of the Acting Department at the Łódź Film School, and a third-year psychology student at SWPS University in Warsaw.

As an actress, I work with language, pronunciation, communication and expression every day. Understanding the meaning behind words, finding the right tone and communicating naturally are essential parts of my profession.

I also speak English fluently. I lived in Ireland for two years as a child and currently study specialised English at C1 level as part of my psychology degree. This means that we can comfortably communicate in English while you develop your Polish skills.

What can I help you with?

• Everyday Polish - learn practical vocabulary and expressions you'll actually use in Poland, from ordering coffee to making friends and handling everyday situations.
• Conversation practice - build confidence, improve fluency and learn to express yourself more naturally.

• Grammar and vocabulary - understand the rules of Polish through clear explanations and practical examples.
• Polish culture and communication - discover expressions, humour and cultural nuances that textbooks don't always explain.
• Overcoming the fear of speaking - practise in a supportive environment where making mistakes is a natural part of learning.

What are my lessons like?

I believe that learning a language should be about communication, curiosity and human connection - not just memorising grammar rules.

Every student is different, so I adapt my lessons to your individual needs, interests, goals and level of Polish.

We can work with conversations, everyday situations, short texts, videos and exercises. I particularly enjoy using topics that genuinely interest my students, making lessons more engaging and relevant to their lives.

My acting background allows me to pay special attention to pronunciation, rhythm, intonation and the subtle differences between what we say and what we actually mean.

I'm also studying psychology, which helps me better understand individual learning processes, motivation and the importance of feeling comfortable while learning something new.

My goal is not simply to teach you Polish words and grammar, but to help you feel confident using the language in real life.
