Peter Whyte-Venables

Born in Africa, I grew up in England, and left to live in Poland in 2009. I have done many jobs (soldier, professional traveller, postman, writer, builder, artist) and all these have provided me with the experience to make teaching English an enjoyable and interesting job. Most of my students - most of whom have been with me for years [5 years, in one case] - hold senior positions in their companies (banks, Orange, energy, IT etc) and appreciate learning with someone able to discuss anything and everything. I see my job as helping people who already have a good grasp of English (Intermediate upwards) to widen their vocabulary, improve their pronunciation, and use ordinary, everyday idomatic English. I have a clear, ‘BBC’ English accent, and live in Zoliborz, where I conduct my lessons. My passions are my son (3 years) and writing (4 books so far, writing the 5th now)
