Greetings! My name is Casey and I am from Los Angeles, USA. Thank you for visiting my page and taking a look at how I might be able to help you with your English goals. Let’s get down to business, shall we?First off, who am I? Let me share a little bit about myself.

As was mentioned above, I was born and raised in Southern California, USA and have been a professional teacher for over 16 years! My teaching career has taken me throughout the United States, Turkey, and now Poland. In meeting new people here in Poland, one of the first questions I always get asked is, Why would you ever leave Los Angeles and come to Poland? Well, the answer i always give to people is, I love being an English teacher to English language learners! Teaching English has brought to me a fulfillment and purpose in life that I have never know before! There is are not many experiences in the world that can match that moment when you see a student have a breakthrough in their English and see them take their language ability and understanding to the next lever! It’s amazing and I love being apart of that! My hope is that one day, wewill share that beautiful and once in a lifetime moment when your understanding grows and you take your English to the next level. No amount of celebrity sightins, beach days in Santa Monica, or In N’ Out burgers can match that! That is why I am here in Poland! So, what can you expect from a 60 minute lesson with me?

1. Conversation - One of the most common things I have heard from students over the years is that speaking is difficult for them. They have sat through the grammar lessons and can score a high mark on an exam, can read an article from the BBC and fully understand it, or watch film on Netflix with no subtitles and fully comprehend the film’s meaning. Impressive! However, when it comes to actually putting their English into use, they struggle and have a hard time forming sentences and remembering words. With me, we will practice putting your English into use by conversing on a wide variety of topics . Our conversation will happen in an encouraging, safe, and fun environment. Ridicule, judgement, and impatience have no place in our lessons! It is absolutely essential to me that you feel comfortable and safe during our times!

2. Business English - Many times students will feel confident in regard to their general conversational English. Yet, when it comes to their jobs - business meetings, business phone calls, presentations - they don’t feel good about their level of English at all. Well, I can help you! If improving your Business English is your desire, then you have come to the right place! Together we will discuss the major business topics of the day, learn new business words/phrases, and being to use business idioms and phrasal verbs in our conversation to make you sound more like a native speaker!

3. Test Preparation - If test preparation is what you need, then I can help! I have extensive experience in preparing students for IELTS, TOEFL, CAE, CPE, and the Matura exam! The students who I have prepared for these exams all performed with glowing success . From reading comprehension, to writing advanced essays, you will get everything you need to get the high mark you want for your exam!

4. Presentations - Over the years, many students have come to me for help with important business presentations they must give for work. In helping with your presentation, you will receive my English analysis which will leave your colleagues and clients impressed and envious of your native sounding English . Furthermore, there are times in which students need to lead important business meetings. Together we will work on making the business meeting you lead effective, efficient, and empowering for your team to be mobilized!

5. Basic English - Though it’s considered boring, I can explain all English grammar concepts in an interesting and fun way. Furthermore, I teach reading comprehension and writing. Whatever your basic English needs might be, I can help you with them . At the end of the day, the lesson is about you and what you want!
