Moja oferta jest bardzo prosta: najwyższej jakości język angielski, zachęta, cierpliwość, poprawa błędów, wyjaśnienia i humor (angielski, oczywiście!). Moi uczniowie mają wiele powodów, by poprawić swój angielski: chęć znalezienia lepszej pracy, potrzeba lepszego angielskiego w obecnej pracy albo po prostu chęć lepszego mówienia po angielsku dla samej satysfakcji — to tylko kilka przykładów! Niezależnie od powodu, mogę pomóc Ci poprawić Twój angielski.
Oferuję indywidualne lekcje General English dla dorosłych od poziomu Intermediate B1 do Proficiency C2. Lekcje odbywają się przez Teams.
Wielu moich uczniów chce po prostu poprawić swój mówiony angielski. Dlatego podczas typowej lekcji powtarzasz przydatne słownictwo z poprzednich zajęć, analizujesz gramatykę, z którą miałeś problemy, oraz omawiasz artykuł, film lub podcast, który wcześniej Ci wysłałem. Taki format daje Ci praktykę czytania, słuchania i mówienia na szeroki zakres tematów, poszerza słownictwo i systematycznie powtarza gramatykę.
Jednak lekcja należy do Ciebie, więc jeśli chcesz skupić się na czymś innym, po prostu mi powiedz! Inne rzeczy, które uczniowie chcą robić, to między innymi: sprawdzanie emaili lub innych tekstów, przygotowanie do rozmów kwalifikacyjnych oraz omawianie języka, który słyszeli gdzie indziej.
Przed pierwszym spotkaniem proszę Cię o wypełnienie testu poziomującego oraz formularza analizy potrzeb, które odsyłasz mi emailem. Test sprawdza Twój poziom językowy i identyfikuje początkowe problemy gramatyczne. Na tej podstawie wyślę Ci materiały do przygotowania przed pierwszą lekcją. Formularz analizy potrzeb informuje mnie, czego oczekujesz od lekcji — potwierdzimy to podczas pierwszego spotkania. Proszę, wyślij mi zaproszenie do Teams lub podaj swój adres Teams, abym mógł Cię zaprosić!

How am I different from other English tutors?
I am an experienced native English speaker, born and raised in the UK. This means I have greater natural fluency and knowledge of the real English that the British use.
Equally important is my knowledge of British culture - knowing the English that the British really use in different contexts.
No endless paragraphs here about super special methods, 100% guarantees of success, personal missions, instant results and other promotional blurb, all to justify sky-high prices. My offer is very simple: the highest-quality English possible, encouragement, patience, correction, explanation and humour (English, of course!). You supply the motivation and with me you’ll improve your English and gain more confidence speaking it.
What I offer:

My students have plenty of reasons for improving their English: wanting to find a better job, needing better English in the job they already have, or just wishing to speak better English for its own sake — these are just a few! Whatever your reason, I can help you improve.
I offer one-to-one General English tuition to adults from Intermediate B1 up to Proficiency C2 level. The lessons are held via Teams.
Many of my students simply want to improve their spoken English. So, in a typical lesson you revise useful vocabulary from the previous lesson, analyse some grammar you’ve had problems with and discuss an article, video or podcast that I have sent you. This format gives you practice in reading about, listening to and speaking on a wide range of topics, extends your vocabulary and systematically reviews your grammar.
However, the lesson is yours, so if you want to focus on something else, just tell me! Other things that students want to do include: checking emails or other texts, practising for job interviews and discussing language they’ve heard elsewhere.
Before we meet, I ask you to complete a placement test and needs assessment form, which you email back to me. The test checks your language level and identifies any initial grammar problems. Based on this, I will send you some material to prepare for the first lesson. The assessment form tells me what you want from the lessons – we will confirm this when we first meet. Please send me an invitation to join you on Teams, or give me your own Teams address so I can invite you!

5/5Alex is the best foreign language teacher I’ve ever had, and I’ve
known a handful of them (yes, I’m quite picky). Since it’s not the
first review on his profile, I don’t want to repeat what others have
already expressed but I confirm that all the praises are completely
true. Instead, I’d like to point out to something that skipped the
attention yet: Alex is both a native speaker with high language
competence and extensive knowledge about culture as well as a
professional teacher. In my experience, that’s quite rare combination
– it’s easy to find someone who is either a native speaker or an
educated / trained teacher but a person who meets both criteria at a
very high level seems more like a needle in the haystack. Well, here
is your needle,, try not to lose it ;).

I've been learning English since I was a kid, and I haven't had such a good, professional teacher before. The Lessons with Alex are very interesting. He explains grammar and vocabulary clearly. Additionally Alex has got a great sense of humor. I'm looking forward to my English lesson!!!!

5/5Napiszę po polsku, bo ostatecznie kandydaci do nauki nie muszą biegle mówić i pisać po angielsku.
U Alexa uczę się już dwa lata. Mamy słuchanie, czytanie, mówienie i rozumienie. Czas lekcji wykorzystany jest maksymalnie. Alex notuje wszystkie błędy w mówieniu jakie się zdarzają i tą notatkę wręcza po lekcji. Do domu zadawane są jednostki z angielskiego podręcznika. Gramatykę musimy czytać tez po angielsku. Jeżeli chcesz usłyszeć angielski w wersji oryginalnej i uczyć się kompleksowo to bardzo zachęcam.
5/5Lessons with Alex are suited to students needs - not only to the level but also - to students hobbies and interests. Alex is flexible not only when it comes to the topic. You can always decide wether you prefer to practice grammar, communication or both. If you want to understand cultural context you can grasp it quickly by immersion in the native language. Regardless of what you need - well organised, attentive, patient and full of great sense of humour Alex makes every lesson not only effective but also enjoyable and well spent time.

I see how carefully he chooses words and asks me questions about the text that help me better articulate what I want to convey. It's not just about English, but about clarifying my thoughts. It's something more than just proofreading. I greatly appreciate it.

I have been taking lessons with Alex for over 4 years and my English proficiency has improved significantly, both in comprehension and speech (fluency and grammar). What I appreciate about him is his great involvement in the student's problems (e.g. helping to write official emails, proofreading documents, etc.), his patience for repeating the same language mistakes :) and always positive thinking.

5/5Hi all, I've been Alex's student since early 2022 and I can recommend you having lessons with Alex. It's a lot of fun, but (what its even more important) you will see that you can progress with your English! I don't have communication issues, I'm able to express myself, but I still need someone to stop me and correct me (structure, grammar, exceptions etc..) as I want to be professional in front of my business partners, and Alex does it in a professional, gentle, interesting way. Lessons with Alex is a nice balance of everything: speaking, understanding, writing, grammar, means everything what is needed to be good at English:)
5/5I have had English lessons with Alex for a year and now decided to share some useful thoughts. I am an engineer and before we started I had already had quite a lot of experience of using English but my skills were actually too poor to communicate fluently. It's very common when someone has a huge passive vocabulary but can't use it in real conversations. Thanks to Alex I have made significant progress to rectify the situation.
The main benefit for me was that the lessons were tailor-made for my actual needs. As it was speaking that I had a basic problem with, we mostly focused on it, revising at the same time some of the most difficult grammar rules. Fortunately, Alex is a very interesting interlocutor so our conversations have never been boring and we still have a lot of topics to discuss.
Moreover, at the end of each lesson I have been sent notes with detailed feedback about mistakes and wrong collocations I need to pay attention to. The obvious advantage of having lessons with a native speaker is that you will never hear unnatural phrases and will learn to speak English naturally. As for me personally it's very important and I hope Alex will be a good choice as a teacher for everyone who shares my priorities.
