My name is Agnieszka, and I absolutely love learning foreign languages! I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. :)

That’s a little bit about my language background, but it’s also worth mentioning that I’m Polish and Polish is my native language. I have been interested in teaching Polish as a foreign language for several years, and for over two years now, I have been regularly helping my students learn and improve their Polish.

My own experience of learning foreign languages allows me to explain even more complex grammar rules in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Knowing other foreign languages also helps me understand the difficulties my students may face when learning Polish.

Above all, I want my lessons to be friendly, practical and tailored to each student’s individual needs. 😊

I have a Master’s degree in Romance Philology from the University of Silesia. I have been teaching foreign languages for 4 years, and for over 2 years I have been teaching Polish as a foreign language.

I am passionate about education and continuously developing my teaching skills. I am currently completing a teaching qualification programme, where I am learning more about modern teaching methods and effective ways of working with students.

A little fun fact! ✈️

For some time, I worked as a flight attendant for an airline. This experience showed me how important effective communication is in everyday life and how challenging a language barrier can be. At the same time, it taught me that overcoming this barrier can be incredibly rewarding and can open up many new opportunities.

I’m here to show you that Polish doesn’t have to be difficult! 😊

Communication is very important to me, which is why we start speaking Polish from the very first lesson – no matter whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your existing skills.

Above all, I focus on natural language learning. I want words and expressions to become a natural part of your language, rather than something you simply memorise. I give you space to make mistakes, while correcting them along the way – without unnecessary stress or discouragement. I believe that making mistakes is a natural and very important part of learning a language, and that a teacher’s role is to help students notice, understand and gradually eliminate them.

Many of my students are children and teenagers between the ages of 6 and 17, so I have experience creating engaging lessons tailored to their age, level and interests. Knowing a foreign language is, above all, a practical skill, so I want Polish to become part of your “world” too – through everyday situations, conversations and topics that are interesting and relevant to you.

An individual approach to every student is one of the most important things for me. We all have our own most effective way of learning, so my role is to get to know you, see what works best for you and adapt our lessons accordingly.

That is why I offer the first lesson free of charge. For me, it is primarily an opportunity to get to know you better, understand your needs and see how I can best help you. You, in turn, can get a feel for my lessons and decide whether this way of learning is right for you – with no obligation.
